Tea Ceremony Meditation
Cha Dao, or the Way of Tea, offers us the space to remember our connection to nature. This offering will introduce 'bowl tea' and the essence of simplicity and meditation. We will share tea together in silence and connect to this plant teacher as a bridge to the meditative mind as we cultivate inner harmony and awakened presence. There will be a few moments at the end for discussion, reflection and questions.

TEA
Boiled Tea Ceremony
Boiling tea is one of the oldest brewing methods on earth, extending back into the stories of the very first bowl of tea. We recall the first legendary sip and the heritage of simpler times when fire was the center of human life. Boiling herbs has always connected health and harmony with the body, mind and spirit. This meditative journey honours the approach shared by tea sage Lu Yu — from the roots of tea drinking refined as ceremony.

TEA
Full Moon Tea Ceremony
A Full Moon Tea Ceremony is a portal to remember the connection to ourselves, nature and the greater workings of the Universe. Full Moon is a time dedicated to open to the mystical and potent frequencies allowing us to connect to our higher self and receive guidance. We will share an intentional meditative Tea Ceremony and explore the fluid energies upon us to shift consciousness and awaken dormant thoughts and desires deep within our hearts. This offering will be in noble silence and there will be a few moments at the end for journaling, reflections and questions.

TEA
New Moon Tea Ceremony
A New Moon Tea Ceremony is a time in nature carved out for rebirthing, and realigning with our higher consciousness. New Moon energy sparks, creativity, originality and ignites our passions to reflect our soul's purpose. Through a Tea Ceremony Meditation we create space to remember our connection to Source, our true Self, and reflect on who we are and let go of what no longer serves us. This is a potent time to intentionally ground our desires and dreams to the Earth, so that we can live life more authentically and with greater flow and harmony. This offering will be in noble silence and there will be a few moments at the end for journaling, reflections and questions.

TEA
Mindful Tea Tasting
Tea has a long, historical tradition of being brewed as mindful practice by Zen Monks. In this offering we will experience a sensory journey and an approach to mindfulness as we intentionally slow down and arrive at the present moment with a cup of Tea. Each offering will introduce between 2-3 teas and we will discover the elegance and sophistication of different teas and teaware, exploring the qualities that make a fine cup of tea. Tea is an art where we may find extraordinary beauty and spirit when we pay attention to the intimate experience of being with the tea.

TEA
Three Bowls of Tea
The making and sharing of a few bowls of Tea gives rise to a profound experience expressing a spectrum of beauty found in the mundane. This offering is a glimpse into a tea ceremony where one may enter into calm and stillness as they embark on a journey towards the awakened mind. Tea will be shared in silence and there will be a few moments for reflections the end. A perfect interlude during the day for the wind between the pines to be heard in our kettle.

TEA
Zen and Tea One Flavour — Culture Series
This offering is an evening of sharing tea and mindful discussion. They say that the flavor of Zen and the flavor of tea are the same, and without an understanding of one, there is no mastery of the other. After all, how we do anything is how we do everything. The affinity between tea and Chan (Zen), is a friendship dating back more than a thousand years with lifetimes of insights and teachings to unpack. In this "Culture Series" we will share tea and openly discuss topics related to the essence and experience of Zen and how we may incorporate the art of living skillfully and in harmony with truth within our lives.
