SPA AND WELLNESS THERAPIST

Join our team as the property evolves into Fivelements Samui, the brand’s forthcoming flagship integrative wellbeing destination. The Spa and Wellness Therapist will deliver professional spa and wellness treatments with technical skill, attentive care and a genuine understanding of each guest’s individual needs. From therapeutic massage to facial and body treatments, the role will contribute to a restorative guest experience that reflects Fivelements’ approach to personalised wellbeing and thoughtful hospitality.

Working closely with the Head Therapist, Spa Manager and multidisciplinary wellness team, the Spa and Wellness Therapist will ensure treatments are delivered safely and consistently, with careful attention to guest preferences, contraindications and professional standards. The position offers an opportunity to develop new skills, deepen therapeutic knowledge and contribute to the evolving wellness experience at Fivelements Samui.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Treatment Delivery: Perform professional massage, facial and body treatments in accordance with established techniques, treatment protocols and Fivelements service standards.
  • Personalised Guest Care: Understand individual guest needs, preferences and contraindications, adapting treatments appropriately to ensure comfort, safety and wellbeing.
  • Treatment Room Preparation: Maintain treatment rooms, equipment and supplies to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and readiness.
  • Guest Experience: Provide warm, attentive hospitality throughout each treatment, creating a welcoming and restorative environment.
  • Operational Coordination: Maintain accurate guest treatment records and coordinate with the spa and multidisciplinary wellness teams to ensure seamless service.
  • Professional Development: Participate in training, coaching and ongoing skills development to maintain treatment quality and expand therapeutic expertise.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Certificate or diploma in massage, spa therapy or holistic therapy.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in massage, facial and body treatments, supported by sound knowledge of anatomy, contraindications and hygiene practices.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a spa, wellness resort or hospitality environment is preferred.
  • Guest Relations: A caring, professional approach with strong interpersonal skills and attention to individual guest needs.
  • Teamwork: A supportive and collaborative attitude, with enthusiasm for learning new techniques and developing professional skills.
  • Language: Good command of spoken English.
